Floor manager

As a floor manager at Seaside, you need to lead by example with your hospitality. You will have complete oversight and responsibility for the guest's overall experience and daily operations. You should be passionate about creating the best working environment in Copenhagen, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining healthy financial performance.

It is a requirement that you have experience managing staff within hotel and/or restaurant operations or a minimum of 2 years' experience as a full-time waiter.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • motivate, guide and train staff
  • having a comprehensive overview of the day's proceeding

About you

  • can work evenings and weekends and enjoy working in fast fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • have experience in personnel management
  • excel at teamwork and handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • have a strong sense of service and attention to detail
  • thrive in a fast-paced work environment and adapt well to changes
  • speak and understand the Nordic languages as well as English
  • are persuasive, good at building connections, and always smiling

The man behind Seaside Toldboden is Jesper Julian Møller. He has leased the harbourfront premises since 2010, running a restaurant, harbour bar, and private events. Seaside opened as a new concept in spring 2021 as part of the Street Food District group, which has grown rapidly into a major organisation and includes Seaside Toldboden, Broens Street Food Reffen, Werkstatt, and Storms Pakhus. Street Food District is therefore Denmark’s largest operator of street food markets. During peak season, the group employs a total of 300 people - and up to 600 including vendors and subcontractors. With a job at Seaside, you’re part of something bigger.
