For Runners

In the role of a Runner, you'll have a crucial responsibility in upholding order by clearing tables and ensuring the venue shines brightly. You will become part of a young and dynamic team where mutual assistance is second nature, and we're not afraid to roll up our sleeves. The job is study-friendly, with most shifts scheduled on weekends and evenings.

No prior experience is necessary; we will quickly get you up to speed. During your initial period, you will be paired with a 'training buddy' who ensures you are well-prepared to tackle the day's tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Refilling and clearing tables
  • Taking orders from guests
  • Guiding and answering questions about our concept and menu
  • Cleaning, dishwashing, and various ad hoc tasks

About you

  • Available to work evenings and weekends
  • Between 16 and 17 years old
  • Speak and understand Danish and English
  • Smiling, cooperative, and helpful
  • Flexible

The man behind Seaside Toldboden is Jesper Julian Møller. He has leased the harbourfront premises since 2010, running a restaurant, harbour bar, and private events. Seaside opened as a new concept in spring 2021 as part of the Street Food District group, which has grown rapidly into a major organisation and includes Seaside Toldboden, Broens Street Food Reffen, Werkstatt, and Storms Pakhus. Street Food District is therefore Denmark’s largest operator of street food markets. During peak season, the group employs a total of 300 people - and up to 600 including vendors and subcontractors. With a job at Seaside, you’re part of something bigger. This also means great opportunities for internal job mobility, giving you the chance for continuous skills and career development, while strengthening our shared internal knowledge.

Seaside is designed as a tribute to Denmark’s proud merchant fleet and the stories of the surrounding area. This inspiration is reflected in the shape, colours, and interior design. Philip de Lange’s Mast Crane at Nyholm is echoed in our lighting, the Royal Yacht Dannebrog can be seen in the details of our main bar, and Kastellet - our beautiful green backyard - is reflected in the tables.
