A Bartender
As a bartender at Seaside, your primary responsibility is to ensure that guests receive the best service at the bar, always accompanied by a smile. Given the extensive range of our bar, it's advantageous if you have a basic knowledge of everything from great cocktails to the world of wines. It's essential that you're a cheerful and outgoing individual who enjoys thriving in a lively environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily bar operations
- Communication with both guests and staff
- Professional serving of food and beverages
- Providing guidance to guests on the concept and various drinks
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum age of 20
- Available to work evenings and weekends
- Experience in personnel management
- Skilled in collaboration and managing multiple responsibilities
- Has a sense of service and attention to detail
- Thrives in a high-paced work environment
- Speaks and understands the Nordic languages as well as English
- Sales-oriented, sociable, and smiling

The man behind Seaside Toldboden is Jesper Julian Møller. He has leased the harbourfront premises since 2010, running a restaurant, harbour bar, and private events. Seaside opened as a new concept in spring 2021 as part of the Street Food District group, which has grown rapidly into a major organisation and includes Seaside Toldboden, Broens Street Food Reffen, Werkstatt, and Storms Pakhus. Street Food District is therefore Denmark’s largest operator of street food markets. During peak season, the group employs a total of 300 people - and up to 600 including vendors and subcontractors. With a job at Seaside, you’re part of something bigger. Seaside is designed as a tribute to Denmark’s proud merchant fleet and the stories of the surrounding area. This inspiration is reflected in the shape, colours, and interior design. Philip de Lange’s Mast Crane at Nyholm is echoed in our lighting, the Royal Yacht Dannebrog can be seen in the details of our main bar, and Kastellet - our beautiful green backyard - is reflected in the tables.
