Since 2018, Broens Street Food has been a vibrant meeting place for food, people, and great experiences at Grønlandske Handels Plads. Here you’ll find some of Copenhagen’s well-known restaurateurs and passionate chefs, serving street food of the highest quality. During the summer season, the area buzzes with life, filled with food stalls, events, and happy guests from near and far. And when winter sets in, the square transforms into Broens Ice Rink – a magical winter universe created to spread light, warmth, and a sense of community during the darker months.

Broens as your

We’re looking for team members who are eager to learn and excited about spreading good energy at Broens. We support and adapt to your development if you have the courage and willingness to grow. How much, where, and when you want to work is almost entirely up to you - though we do expect you to be available for at least four weekend shifts and four weekday shifts per month. At Broens, you’ll get a job where colleagues quickly become close friends. You’ll be part of a tight-knit group of people who genuinely enjoy each other’s company. On busy days, we welcome thousands of guests, and we work closely together to make sure every single one has a great experience.

Broens Street Food is part of Street Food District, which also includes Seaside Toldboden, Reffen, Werkstatt, and Storms Pakhus. Street Food District is Denmark’s largest operator of street food markets. During peak season, we employs a total of 300 people - and up to 600 including vendors and subcontractors. With a job at Broens, you become part of something bigger. This also means strong opportunities for internal mobility, giving you the chance for ongoing skills and career development, while strengthening our shared internal knowledge.
What you didn’t know
about Broens
Broens is located at The Greenland Trading Square, a historic hub for trade and craftsmanship. Established in 1735 by merchant Andreas Bjørn, the square buzzed with life for more than 200 years, home to shipyards, warehouses, and trade in everything from dried fish to whale skins. Today, the area is a natural meeting point between Nyhavn and Christianshavn - a place where history and street food come together.
